Good Scouts, one and all

This area is blessed with plenty of Girl and Boy Scout troops ... and has been for generations.Today we feature one photo from 1964 and another from present day, plus the older photo.George Messa of Lansdale has shared these photos — and is featured in the one shot in February 1964.The “retro” shot (right) highlights Cub Scout Den 6 of Lansdale. In the front row are George, Doug Nelson and Robert Taylor. In the back row are Alfred Neneca, Matthew McNalley and Cub Leader Mary Messa, George’s mom.George thought it would be fun to also share a photo of her grandson, Giovanni Messa, (inset) from Troop 55 in Quakertown, who is holding the picture from days gone by.
